The Respite Program is designed to give the caregiver a break one night each week.

The normal time each week is on Friday Night from 6-9 p.m.  The time may vary during the holiday season.  The caregiver makes the reservation each week by calling RSVP, 256-232-7207.

This program provides one-on-one assistance to individuals that are mentally and physically challenged during the “night out” at designated facility. (i.e. play games, reading, walking exercises, and caring to personal needs). The “night out” is held at four different churches each month.
Assist with safety precautions for said individuals during “night-out”.
Serve as desk registration clerk, snack preparation, or relief caregiver as needed during “night-out.”
